How we look after personal data, what rights you hold over it, and how to reach us about either.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Introduction
Cowrie Integrated Systems Limited ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we look after personal data when you visit this website or contact us, and it sets out your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Cookies and this website
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts, and it loads every font, image and stylesheet from our own server — so browsing these pages makes no request to any other party and stores nothing on your device.
Because nothing is stored and nothing is tracked, there is no cookie banner to accept and no preferences to configure. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
Information we collect
Since this site collects nothing automatically, the personal data we hold generally reaches us because you have sent it to us — by email, through a business relationship, or during onboarding. It may include:
- Identity data — first name, last name, title, and identifiers used in onboarding documentation.
- Contact data — email address, telephone numbers and postal address.
- Business data — company details, beneficial ownership information and other documentation required for know-your-business and anti-money-laundering checks.
- Transaction data — details of payments and settlements made through us, where you are a client or counterparty.
- Communications data — the correspondence you exchange with us and your preferences for receiving information from us.
How we use your information
We will only use personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, that is:
- To provide the information, products or services you have asked us for.
- To perform a contract we have entered into, or are about to enter into, with you.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, and your interests and fundamental rights do not override them.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation — including obligations arising under our licences and under anti-money-laundering law.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Data security
We have put appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal data from being lost, misused, accessed without authorisation, altered or disclosed. Access is limited to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. Records relating to regulated financial activity are held for the periods our regulators require, which may be longer than the underlying relationship.
Your legal rights
In certain circumstances you have rights under data protection law in relation to your personal data, including the right to:
- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction of your personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
- Object to processing of your personal data.
- Request restriction of processing of your personal data.
- Request transfer of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
These rights are not absolute — where we are required by law or by a regulator to retain records, we will explain that rather than simply decline.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change is published on this page with a revised "last updated" date above.
